We are alive...
but locked out. Yes, it has been a long time since we've blogged. We are aware of that. Back to the locked out part. We came home tonight from a long night of shopping at MOA (where the shirts at GAP are really cheap) and found two cops questioning and shining flashlights at our neighbors across the street. We try to quickly get into the house and find that our screen door is locked from the inside. Perfect. And we don't have a garage door opener to get in through the back. We are locked out. Sarah's up in White Bear Lake and Lacy is at work until 11:30 pm. What do we do? Call your old roommate. So here we are, sitting at the Burns' residence...updating the blog. Boom. We are back in action.

Front door?
wow, sounds like an adventure! so how did you get in, Lacy got home?
I mean, do you have screen doors on both doors, and were both locked from the inside? How can this be! I simply must know!

only the front screen door was locked from the inside. but we couldn't get to the back door because the fence was locked and we didn't have a garage door opener.
technically, we could have hopped the fence but i didn't want to rip or pee my pants.
so, we waited 'til sarah got home :)
