Oh you are so funny, Mr. Grimm. But I think that I deserve something way better than that for running a mile. I mean, seriously, I made it all the way through elementary school, middle school, and high school without running a mile, EVER. And, for that matter, made it through my college aerobics class too.

What, I am thinking is that I should have sponsors. You know, like for the real marathons.

Does this mean that you are in with joining us now? And you, Steph?

At least that awful picture is telling everyone that my tonsels are still intact.

Courtney, that picture is so funny! I love it!

Could your mouth be any wider?!!! I can't believe I birthed that! Just kidding. It was my privilege. Hi, girls!

Hi Courtney's mom!!

Tommy, are you going to run the mile with us? OH, and CDT is wondering if the Grimm family will sponsor her in the run.

Steph, will you buy me a $20 gift card too. I guess Ellie wants one too.

Maybe if she represented the Grimm family? Perhaps if she ran with the Grimm children portrait featured on her outfit? Andrea, I think you were really fond of this work of art, weren't you?

We should walk around Phillips and ask for donations. Ya know, like...getting a pool together. Like March Madness. Then, each person can put in $2 for a great cause...

that could be the reward. I'm proud of y'all. Tear.

Maybe we could even further with our donations??

We could e-mail CJ??

I like your idea, Steph. Raise support around the neighborhood. Just don't restrict yourselves to monitary donations. Beat-up couches, broken-down cars, decrepit swing-sets--all should be welcomed.

since when do runners have an "outfit", tommy?

Tommy said...

perhaps since running a mile became a marathon?

Courtney Reissig said...

oh, good one.

don't worry tommy. i'll let courtney know about the need for running outfits. and that you have not been able to go running in the past for the very reason of not having a suitable outfit!

Well, golly...running a mile is like running a marathon! It's the same to me!

Are we gonna have a carbo load or what? :)

Pasta, bread, salad, brownies, more bread...mouth is watering...

maybe it could be a biathlon, steph--running followed by mowing a yard?

Courtney, have you ever tried fitting 66 hotdogs in there?
